Career Divers is a community-centered organization dedicated to helping individuals dive deeply into their personal and professional journeys. We believe meaningful growth happens when people are given the space, tools, and support to explore who they are beneath the surface, beyond titles, roles, and external expectations.
Our work is rooted in intentional exploration. Through community programs, educational resources, workshops, coaching, consulting, and strategic development opportunities, we help individuals gain the clarity, confidence, and purpose needed to navigate life’s many pathways. Whether advancing a career, building a business, pursuing ownership, exploring investments, or seeking greater alignment in life, Career Divers provides a supportive environment for growth and discovery.
We exist to help people uncover their strengths, recognize opportunities, strengthen their sense of direction, and move forward with intention. At Career Divers, every dive is an opportunity to learn, grow, and create a future filled with ownership, growth, and opportunity.
Career Divers empowers individuals to dive deeply into their career and life journey through intentional exploration, community support and purpose-driven development. We guide people in uncovering their strengths, clarifying their directions, and raising with confidence- one meaningful dive at a time.
We facilitate their enrichment by helping them adjust their “mix”- their mindset, environment, and energy- so they can expand sustainably, lead authentically, and move forward with purpose.
To build a community where every person has the courage, clarity, and support to explore the depths of who they are and create a career and life aligned with their purpose. We envision a world where people no longer define themselves by tittle alone, but by authenticity, impact, and intentional leadership rooted in the values they bring to their journey.
My name is Elizabeth Rivera, Founder & CEO of Career Divers.
This organization was born from one of the most vulnerable and transformative chapters of my life. After seven years in finance, including years as a global leader at the largest investment management firm in the world, I suddenly found myself without a job during the Christmas season. It was a moment that shook me, but it also opened a door I had never allowed myself to walk through.
For the first time in years, I paused. I gave myself permission to breathe, to rest, and to explore the parts of life I had put on hold. That’s when I first discovered scuba diving. What began as a simple quest for exploration and reconnection became a profound turning point in my life. Underwater, while being in awe of a world that exists just beneath the surface, a world only a few get to explore, those brave enough to embrace the dive and make the adjustments needed to go deeper, I felt something shift inside me.
With every dive, I realized how much of myself I had overlooked. A lightbulb went on: I had value that stood on its own, without needing a title, a company, or external validation. That realization led me to take a deeper dive inward. I asked myself the hard questions, the ones that require courage, honesty, and patience. Some answers, like my “why,” came surprisingly easy. Others required deeper reflection.
I became a Divemaster. I certified as an Advanced Deep Diver, where I learned to use enriched air. In diving, you can keep using the same oxygen mix, but you burn out faster and can’t go deeper for long. To go deeper, extend your time, and increase safety, you have to adjust your mix.
Our careers work the same way. Sustained growth requires intentional shifts in how we operate and where we invest energy. Through that journey, my mission became clear.
Career Divers was created to help others navigate their own depths, to explore who they are, what they want, and what they are meant to contribute. We are a community-centered space dedicated to intentional exploration, personal clarity, and meaningful pathways to ownership, growth, and opportunity.
Like in diving, sustained growth requires a deep dive to assess risks, identify opportunities, and navigate a clear path forward with clarity, confidence, and purpose. Here, we believe that the deeper you go, the more you discover. And that every person deserves the chance to rise with purpose.
Thank you for being part of this community. Whether you are in transition, seeking alignment, or simply ready to explore what’s beneath the surface, Career Divers is here to guide you, one intentional dive at a time.
With gratitude and purpose,
